IF I DIE TODAY formed in Mondovi (CN) in 2007.
After only two months of rehearsals the band went to the studio to record their first self-titled EP. The songs later found themselves on two compilations:
“28 Reasons to be a sin rocker”, © Sin Records, 2007
with bands like Derozer, The Gaia Corporation, Melody Fall...
and “Indiebox Compilation Vol II” © IndieBox Records, 2007
with bands like The Briggs, Gogol Bordello, Avenged Sevenfold, Marky Ramone and others...

After the release of the EP the band embarks on a brief promotional tour where they share the stage with This is a standoff (ex-Belvedere, historic American melodic hc band).

The band's debut album, released in 2008 was a success. After the release the band has performed in a number of the best Italian clubs such as Vidia Club (Cesena), Circolone (Milan), Init (Roma), United Club (Torino), Le piccole iene (Novara) , B-Side (Cosenza), The Club (Naples), and at some of the best summer festivals of the year including the Caserta Rock Fest (best festival in 2008 for the MEI with Linea 77, Los Fastidios, Casino Royale, The Hormonauts) , Durden Festival (Milan, with Line 77 and Marlene Kuntz), Beach Day Out Punk vol I (Cagliari, with Duff)...

The band's second full-length will be recorded and mixed by Marco Mantovani in Rome in February 2010 and released by Wynona Records in April, 2010.
