Jonny was choking on a cherry from his Sunday at Mel’s Diner in Santa Cruz. T-Bone saw the chance to pull the Heimlich or at least squeeze the shit out of an American. The cherry popped out and T-Bone saved Jonny’s life. The have been steadfast buddies ever since.
Since they both are too lazy to get real jobs they decided to start a rock band. They wrote some songs down on soda fountain napkins and played them into one of them recording machines. Music history wasn’t made but something magical did happen and The 5 Foot Assassins were born.
Now with K-Mani on drums and Boogie on bass the 5 Foot Assassins are looking for gigs and extra work (mainly construction and some light auto mechanic). The group relocated to Prague CZ (for the hookers and goulash) and have toured Europe, Ireland and the UK.
They have played various festivals in the summer, Played with the likes of sex Pistols/Henry Rollins, Sinead O'Connor etc. Having just returned from a festival appearance in Germany, with various gigs in frankfurt 5 Foot Assassins are currently working on a european tour to promote the 1st 5 FOOT ASSASSINS cd, we will this time take in Poland, Hungary and Italy.
